Adult ministry

Mt. Pleasant UMC has numerous ways for adults to connect with Jesus and each other.  We offer traditional and contemporary worship, connect groups, large events to small events, etc.  If you have any questions about the following opportunities please contact the church office.

  • Sunday worship

    Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary every Sunday at 8:30 am.   Contemporary Worship is located in the Lighthouse (new building) which begins at 11:00 am.  


  • Connect Groups are our version of Sunday School.  We have numerous groups meeting at 9:45 am Sunday mornings.  Groups are located on campus and vary from topic groups to groups by life experience.  Contact the church office or see a greeter on Sunday for more information.

  • off-site connect groups

    Off-site Connect Groups meet in various places through the week at different times.  They consist of small groups of women meeting during the morning to a large group of all ages meeting during the evening.  See the resource board for more information or contact the church office.

  • events

    Mt. Pleasant UMC hosts several large events through the year for church members and the community.  They are a great way to connect with others in Mt. Pleasant.  Our events consist of the food packing event every July to the Methodist Men hosting a steak supper in May, and everything in between!
